About the Red Hot and Blues Show.
As well as the main show featuring Danny Draher, the Red hot and Blues show features an opening set by Houston based Guitarist Don Milne (AKA H-Town Donnie) playing a selection of blues classics.
The UK band is made up of seasoned musicians of the Lowestoft based rock, blues and R'nB band "Breeze".
Guitarist Chris laverick will be joining the band for the UK shows.
Don Milne (AKA H-Town Donnie).
Growing up in the UK during the 60s, Don was exposed to the early Rock n Roll sounds of heros such as Chuck Berry and the Stones, not to forget the hot sounds of the British Blues Bands like The Animals, John Mayall and the Yardbirds. Add a healthy dose of classic R 'nB from Wilson Picket , Eddie Floyd and the other Stax R'nB artists and you soon see where the early influences came from !
Fast forward to present day home in Houston Texas and Don is still Rockin' n Rollin!

In case you're wondering, H-Town is the popular slang name for Houston Texas !

Top local bassman Mick Soans along with
Miss Tracey on Drums and Kevin Day on Guitar make up this hard rockin rhythm section!
Blues, R 'nB , Rock or whatever style is needed to make the house rock, these guys can do it !

Chris Laverick.
Chris is a professional guitarist and tutor who as well as being a great Blues Guitarist plays many other styles including rock, jazz, folk, ragtime and country. We are pleased to have Chris as part of the band for our UK shows!
